
Dr. Eric M. Chang, MD is a PGY-5 resident in the UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology. He developed an early interest in palliative care as a medical student at UCSF, where he volunteered at the Zen Hospice Project. As a resident at UCLA, he has worked on multiple projects in palliative radiation oncology, with focus on expanding resident education and assessing the cost-effectiveness of palliative therapies. He became a member of SPRO to support its mission of increasing access to palliative radiotherapy and to promote the relationship between the fields of radiation oncology and palliative medicine.
